5 Reasons to Visit Birdland Beach Club in Bolinao

February 14, 2020 in Philippines, Travel

Birdland Beach Club is a resort that has a neo-traditional and rustic chic style located on Long Beach Bolinao, Pangasinan. It is a place for people who are seeking for a priceless experience and are no longer looking for the most spectacular swimming pool or manicured landscape. Birdland Beach Club in Bolinao provides you with a unique experience and exclusivity if you’re into nature, simplicity, and if you’re looking for inner peace and tranquillity of mind. Here’s why you should consider Birdland Beach Club on your next summer vacation!

5 Reasons to Visit Birdland Beach Club in Bolinao

1. It is an eco-friendly resort

Birdland Beach Club is the first boutique eco-resort in Bolinao. The resort stands up to its eco-friendly theme because they have animals around, vegetation, solar panels for their energy, windmill for their water, nipa huts of various sizes, and a lot of water activities. The owner built it around the existing coral instead of destroying them. All the pathways are sand and everything here is either made of wood or bamboo, which makes it very unique.

The food they serve at the restaurant are vegan, paleo, and vegetarian friendly. They grow their own fruits and vegetables, and they don’t use MSG or GMO products.

2. The place is so serene and relaxing

Aside from being an eco-friendly resort, it is also blessed with magnificent views and sea breeze. The resort will give you a unique take where you are torn between taking a dip in the ocean and just enjoy the breeze while listening to the sounds of a hundred birds.

3. Unique Accommodation

The accommodation in Birdland Beach Club greatly varies according to your style. They have regular nipa huts, nipas by-the-beach called bolifugaos which are 3, 4, and 5-story high.

We stayed in a 3 storey nipa hut with a sleeping area on the top level, a hammock and dining area on the second level, and a private restroom on the ground level that features all one-way glass window where you can see a spectacular view while taking a bath.

It feels good waking up to the most glorious view of the ocean.

4. Insta-worthy spots

Birdland Beach Club also features a lot of insta worthy spots from the beach, nipa huts, the wooden structures, hammocks, and a lot more!

They even have areas for beach club members, including the famous 3 level large nests and a nipa hut that is filled with colorful bean bag chairs and hammocks in front of the beach.

5. There are lots of activities that you can do!

At Birdland Beach Club, you can also cruise during sunset, go island-hopping, watch the sunset like stranded castaways, or float with Birdland’s floating houses. They also have a natural sea-water pool in the middle of the resort where it is surrounded by the bolifugaos and just a few meters from the restaurant.

You can also swim in underwater caves, snorkel in front of the resort to view and be amazed by the giant clam. They also have the only bamboo solar tricycle and jeepney in the Philippines to tour you around Bolinao’s famous site. Birdland Beach Club also hosts the annual West Philippine Jazz and Blues Festival every second weekend of March.

It's my first time to read about an eco-themed beach. I am also curious about the bamboo solar tricycle and jeepney! Do you have photos of it ?

Excellent to know they are eco-friendly. It's their selling point! Ahhh I miss the blue skies and blue seas under it. Will visit there once this pandemic ends!

I was watching Byahe Ni Drew this week, featuring Bolinao. I haven't been but seeing this place, the falls and the caves make me want to plan a trip there soon! This particular resort reminds me of a place I dined at in Camiguin 🙂

This blogpost makes me miss going to the beach with my family. Last time we went to the beach was 2 years ago and I think we won’t be able to visit again this year. Birdlan Beach is in my list of places to visit, though. 🙂
