Hues: Try Something New

Whenever I travel, I get too much happiness from good food. It's very convenient for me if the hotel where I stay has an on-site restaurant that serves food for anytime of the day whether I'm travelling or even just a staycation. I'm delighted because one of the well known hotels in Pampanga has all the qualities I'm looking for specially when it comes to food. 

Yesterday, we had a Bloggers' Meeting at Park Inn by Radisson Clark with the Department of Tourism Region III and Ms. Ning Cordero of Punto Newspaper. It's the first ever meeting of all the Bloggers in Pampanga. Park Inn was so kind enough to support the meeting and gave us the chance to try their latest menu and the Supersize Set Meal (Bistro) which you will see as you go on this post.

Park Inn is one of the estabished hotels in Pampanga and they have a fancy on-site restaurant (Hues) that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Fresh Cucumber Shake

Here are the new menu that you should try!

Deep Fried Pumpkin Samosa is basically a mashed pumpkin and green peas in flavorful Indian spices wrapped in spring roll sheets, deep fried and served with raita sauce

Tomato - Parmesa Bruschetta is made of rich Italian herbs flavored fresh tomatoes with parmesan cheese salsa topped with toasted sourdough bread

Blackened Chicken is a juicy chicken breast with creole seasoning, grilled and served with creamy spinach and dirty rice. This is one of my favorites!

Chicken Tandoori Wraps is a boneless Indian chicken tandoori wrapped with fresh vegetable salad and raita sauce in tortilla wrapper

Park Inn's Chef Salad consists of ham, cheddar, boiled eggs bedded in mixed green lettuce with your choice of dressing

Osso Buco with Gremolata is a generously portioned beef shank braised to tenderness in marinara sauce served with gremolata 

Peri-Peri Chicken is made of well maintained African and Portuguese spices inspired barbeque dish with grilled onions and served with vegetable fried rice.

Surf and Turf is also my favorite. It is a fall-off-the-bone smoky flavored American barbeque baby back ribs and grilled prawns served with mashed potato and coleslaw.

Fresh Onion Soup is a caramelized onion flavored soup in beef stock topped with freshly baked cheesy dough

Mozzarella sticks served with deep fried pumpkin sauce

And for dessert, we had a
Brownie Mess which is a combination of fudge brownie, caramel vanilla ice cream, meringue chocolate shavings, glazed nuts

Frozen Brazo De Mercedes, a frozen version of a popular Filipino dessert made with rolled meringue filled with sweet creamy custard

Aside from those menu, Hues restaurant also offers the Supersize Set Meal (7-Course Set Meal:Bistro)

The set meal is good for 6-7 persons

Not only that, but also the set includes rice, soup, 1 round of ice tea, and fresh fruits or ice cream for dessert.

Apart from the restaurant itself, they also have a Lobby Bar that serves coffee, wine, other beverages, sandwiches, cookies, and cakes. It is 24 hours open.
